Changes coming to the Email chapter

I got a great email from Carl C. who mentioned a number of topics that were missing from Chapter 9: Email, so I’ll be adding them to the chapter, hopefully this week, and issuing an update.

Specifically:

• Pin individual folders to start screen
• When forwarding an email containing attachments, one must download the attachment(s) before forwarding, or else they will not reach the recipient
• The number next to a pinned email icon is not the same as unread emails
• The setup for generic IMAP/POP email accounts is problematic

As I noted in the last update (you know, where the chapter was “complete”), I had this nagging feeling I was missing something. It was just too easy. :) There could be more than this, so I’ll look through it again before posting the revision.
